[Remote] Sales Account Manager

They are seeking a Sales Account Manager for Water Solutions, responsible for developing and managing sales of water chemicals in the Central South region of the United States, while maintaining customer relationships and understanding market dynamics.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new sales and gain market info in the Central South of USDevelop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory to understand needs, gain market knowledge and recommend actionsEnsure relationships with end-use customers are favorable. Take appropriate action if a customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of Chemtrade serviceIndependently develop/implement specific account by account tactical strategy to exceed contribution/margin plan, focusing on key criteria of volume and selling priceDevelop, analyze, and negotiate sales agreements at strategic accounts with input from management in order to meet corporate objectivesAnswer customer’s requests regarding their operation problems related directly or indirectly to the use of our productsConscientiously review and communicate potential opportunities that add value to the current business which is aligned with the growth strategyEffectively manage sales processes including effective communication with customers (price change notifications, quotations, etc.) territory management and planning, budgeting and forecasting, call reports, expenses, etcProactively cooperate with operations, distribution, customer service, technical and quality functions to resolve customer issues and successfully implement business strategyUnderstands all costs components which impact cost of doing business with the customerWork/Coordinate projects to develop new business or support our business along with the Sales/Marketing DepartmentsSkillsDegree in Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Sciences with a minimum 5-10 years' of experience in chemical sales and marketing, preferably within the Water and/or Paper IndustryMBA would be considered a strong assetProven verbal and interpersonal communication skillsValid driver's license is requiredAbility to travel between 50-70% of his timeStrong computer skills (SAP, Office, CRM)BenefitsBonusBenefitsPension contributionsAdditional incentivesEmployee Resource Groups (ERGs)Family-friendly benefitsOpportunities for career growth and advancementCompany OverviewChemtrade is a supplier of sulphuric acid, liquid sulphur dioxide (SO2), and sodium hydrosulphite (SHS) to customers.
