They are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the maintenance of compliance programs, policies, and procedures, while also assisting with various legal and compliance functions to support internal operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and implementation of scalable, repeatable compliance and risk assessment workflows, including intake, escalation, documentation, and follow-upImplement and maintain a broad range of compliance policies and proceduresProactively monitor and research relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards elevant to the fintech industry and the regulated sectors our clients operate in, including AI, data privacy, KYC/AML and international expansion, to continuously refine processes as the regulatory landscape evolvesConduct compliance risk assessments and auditsDevelop and deliver compliance training programs to employees to reinforce a strong culture of compliance and understanding of relevant regulations and internal policiesIdentify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to streamline compliance tracking and reduce manual overheadPartner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal, so that compliance considerations are seamlessly integrated into all aspects of the business lifecycleBuild dashboards and prepare recurring reports for leadership on program health and key initiativesCollaborate with legal team members to update privacy policies, contractual terms, and data processing agreements as neededSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university1-3 years of relevant experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThorough with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlinesHighly collaborative and capable of working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Information Security, Services, Compliance, Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams in a fast-paced work environmentExperience and curiosity about new and emerging technologies and associated regulatory implicationsApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorshipMust be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employmentBenefitsBonusEquityBenefitsCompany OverviewAddepar is a financial software company that provides a platform for aggregating, analyzing, and reporting investment portfolios.
