[Remote] Sage X3 Finance Consultant

K9 Recruitment is a growing Sage consulting firm seeking a Sage X3 Finance Consultant to deliver successful financial ERP implementations for manufacturing and distribution clients. The role focuses on transforming financial operations through Sage X3, leading implementations, and providing client-facing advisory throughout the process. Responsibilities • Lead or support full lifecycle Sage X3 financial implementations • Translate business and accounting requirements into scalable ERP solutions • Configure and deploy core financial modules including: • General Ledger • AP / AR • Fixed Assets • Cost Accounting • Multi-entity & Multi-currency structures • Support financial process design across manufacturing and distribution environments • Guide clients through GAAP-aligned system design and reporting structures • Participate in solution architecture discussions and implementation planning • Support data migration, testing, and go-live readiness • Collaborate with technical teams and project managers to ensure successful delivery • Provide client-facing advisory throughout implementation and optimization Skills • Hands-on Sage X3 financial implementation experience • Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial workflows • Experience supporting multi-company or global financial structures • Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments • Ability to translate business needs into system functionality • Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and finance leadership • Experience in consulting or client-facing ERP roles • Experience with Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) • Cost accounting or manufacturing finance exposure • Prior involvement in full end-to-end deployments Benefits • Bonus: $30K – $60K • Fully Remote • ~30% Travel Company Overview • Built on a passion for ERP systems and animal advocacy, K9 Recruitment delivers top-tier recruitment solutions in the ERP space — while making a real-world impact, one hire and one rescue at a time.
