[Remote] Risk Management Analyst

The Risk Management Analyst will support the identification, assessment, and communication of program and project risks within a government contracting environment, contributing to the development of risk frameworks and producing status reports for leadership and clients.ResponsibilitiesReview risk management data to identify discrete risk areas and assess overall program and project risk across cost, schedule, and performance dimensionsCoordinate with program team members to gather, validate, and analyze risk data and supporting documentationDevelop and maintain risk registers, risk matrices, and risk tracking tools for program and project-level useIdentify emerging risk areas and escalate significant risks with recommended mitigation strategies to program leadershipCreate narrative, graphic, and oral status reports communicating risk identification, assessment, and mitigation status to internal and government client audiencesSupport development and implementation of risk mitigation and contingency plans in coordination with program managers and stakeholdersConduct qualitative and/or quantitative risk assessments using established risk management frameworks and methodologiesMonitor and track the status of identified risks and mitigation actions across the program lifecycleContribute to lessons-learned activities and continuous improvement of risk management processesPrepare and deliver risk briefings, formal reports, and presentations for government clients and senior program leadershipSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, program analysis, or a related discipline supporting government programs or complex projectsDemonstrated experience reviewing risk management data and assessing program or project risk across cost, schedule, and performance dimensionsProficiency in developing and maintaining risk registers, risk matrices, and related risk tracking documentationExperience coordinating with multi-disciplinary program teams to gather and validate risk dataAbility to identify risk areas and develop narrative, graphic, and oral risk status reports for diverse audiencesFamiliarity with risk management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK risk management processes or similar)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and risk tracking or project management toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills; experience producing formal reports and delivering briefings to executive-level stakeholdersExperience working with the Veterans Health Administration or a similar federal health agency (CDC, CMS, DHA, HHS, etc.)Active security clearance or ability to obtain oneProject Management Professional (PMP) certification with demonstrated risk management experience and/or PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certificationFamiliarity with VA risk management policies, VA PMAS (Project Management Accountability System), or related VA governance frameworksExperience with Agile or SAFe risk management practices in a government contracting environmentKnowledge of federal Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements and integration with risk reportingExperience with risk management software tools (e.g., Active Risk Manager, Risktrak, or similar enterprise risk platforms)BenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision PlansShort Term Disability / Long Term Disability / Life Insurance / Accidental Death and DismembermentHealth Savings AccountUnlimited Paid Time Off11 Federal Holidays Off401kCompany OverviewIbility, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), is located in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
