They are seeking talented professionals for their Revenue Cycle Management team to fill various roles that involve managing the financial healthcare lifecycle, including billing, collections, and patient services.ResponsibilitiesThe Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for resolving claim issues including denials, payment variances, and any other unresolved issues that may arise directly from internal and external customersThe Patient Collection Specialist assists patients with medical billing and insurance related questions through account research, balance verification, and verification of billing and policy compliance. This role is responsible for all activity related to collection of patients’ outstanding balances and is authorized to transfer or adjust patient balances pending manager approvalThis position is responsible for resolving claims issues within the Care Centers (CCs). The position is responsible for A/R denials, underpayments, payments not according to contractual agreements, and any unresolved claims issues that may arise directly from the Care CenterThe Provider Services Associate works under the direction of the Provider Services Manager to start and maintain the payer enrollment table in Athena (EHR)SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; post secondary degree preferredMinimum of 2 years current experience interpreting insurance explanation of benefits, patient benefit plans; policy coverage and patient responsibilityMinimum of 2 years current experience working with medical claims, billing and collections, and appeals; OB/GYN specialty preferredExperience working with healthcare practice management systems, (Athenanet preferred)Experience working with cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology (Salesforce preferred)Experience with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customersExperience and knowledge of commercial and governmental insurance payer and clearinghouse portals (Availity, Navinet, Optum, etc.) including billing guidelines and policy updatesPost secondary degreeOB/GYN specialtyAthenanetSalesforceWorking knowledge of Medical Billing & CodingBenefitsHealth CoveragePaid Time OffFinancial & Retirement PlanningIncome ProtectionWellbeing SupportProfessional DevelopmentCompany OverviewUnified Women's Healthcare is a management services company that specializes in administrative and business support services.
