[Remote] Senior Engineering Manager (Fullstack)

They are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams, mentor engineers, and drive the delivery of high-quality product initiatives and improvements across the full stack.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with other engineering teams, product, design, TPM, and external stakeholders to introduce new customer-facing platform features and support/evolve existing productsWork with a distributed team of engineers–mentoring and driving engineering best practicesAssist in setting the roadmap for team deliverables in a dynamic environmentDrive delivery of high-quality product initiatives and engineering improvementsWork with the team to identify, scope, and schedule improvements to the frontend platformCommunicate effectively, excelling at explaining complex systems and requirements to non-technical cross-functional partnersBe very technical and willing to participate in system design, code reviews, incident investigations, and directly contribute code towards team initiativesBe data-driven in their engineering management practices, fostering continuous improvementSkills8+ years experience developing software, with at least 3 years of engineering management experience, including managing teams of 8+ engineersProficient across the full stack — frontend (React, Remix/Next.js), backend services (Node, GoLang, and/or Python), APIs, and relational databasesDeep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, including feature inception, GenAI developer tooling, continuous delivery, and release strategiesAbility to define and track key metrics, drive accountability across teams, and consistently meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Ability to understand complex, cross-team technical problems, identify systemic areas of risk, and drive resolution at an organizational levelAbility to 'go deep' technically when necessary. You should be able to contribute changes to the team's codebases and credibly engage in architectural decisions at any timeHighly organized and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple teams or work-streamsProven track record of building, scaling, and retaining high-performing teams, including developing and promoting senior engineers and early-career managersStrategic Orchestration of AI-Augmented Engineering: Drives org-wide adoption of AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) across frontend and backend domains to accelerate delivery of modular, full-stack features. Establishes and champions cross-stack standards for AI-generated code from API design to UI components ensuring automated testing and documentation workflows reduce technical debt at scale.
