[Remote] REMOTE ROLE: Junior Localization Project Manager

They are seeking a Junior Localization Project Manager to support multiple localization programs, working closely with engineers and vendors to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality outcomes.ResponsibilitiesProactively monitor string/label drop cycles, coordinate with localization vendors, and track delivery across active repos and projects — flagging risks early and escalating as neededServe as a localization point of contact for assigned product teamsSupport engineer onboarding to localization workflows and file handling best practicesFollow through on open items end-to-end, including following up on unacknowledged PRs, pending vendor responses, and outstanding stakeholder decisionsSupport in-context testing (ICT) to verify translated strings render correctly in live product UIsLearn and work within existing TMS tooling, with opportunities to assist on tooling setupCoordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing) on localization touchpointsManage LQA projects: select sampling, ensure timely linguist reviews, and route feedback to vendorsProject manage quality initiatives such as glossary localization and translation cleanupSurface process gaps and flag them for senior team reviewHelp troubleshoot localization bugs and contribute to ongoing quality improvement effortsSkillsBachelor's degree in Localization Management, Language Translation, Translation Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experienceFamiliarity with localization best practices and software/web localization workflowsFamiliarity with or exposure to vendor or cross-functional workflowsAbility to ramp up quickly on new tools, systems, and processesComfortable building working relationships with engineers, vendors, and cross-functional partnersComfortable working independently and managing multiple concurrent workstreamsDetail-oriented and dependableExperience with a Translation Management System (TMS) and/or LLM-assisted localization toolsFamiliarity with i18n file formats and GitHub workflows (or eagerness to learn)Experience working in an agile/scrum environmentFamiliarity with ContentQuo or similar LQA toolingExposure to process gaps identification and interest in proposing improvementsRecent graduates of Localization or Translation programs welcome to applyBenefitsOur company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance.Remote role, but must maintain Pacific working hoursW2 Candidates onlyCompany OverviewThe Fountain Group is a staffing firm that specializes in rendering contingent workforce solutions to various industries.
