The Talent Office team plays a vital role in managing and developing the careers of ESPN's talent, ensuring the highest quality on-air personalities and behind-the-scenes professionals. As a Talent Office Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with talent, their representatives, and internal stakeholders to drive talent strategy and success. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update internal databases of ESPN talent salaries, contracts, deal points, and contract expirations to ensure seamless talent management. Provide Talent analytics and reports as requested to assist with Talent negotiation and usage management, driving informed decision-making. Manage various other Talent databases as requested, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Create and maintain a shared collaborative Talent Office "watch list" of external Talent for succession planning, identifying future talent needs. Develop deep knowledge of ESPN content, including understanding the cadence of specific sport calendars and usage of Talent across all platforms. Foster strong relationships with talent and their representatives, maintaining updated contact information and lists. Partner with internal stakeholders to track Talent usage, providing insights to inform talent strategy. Assist in onboarding/offboarding of Talent and other Talent Office administration needs as requested, ensuring a smooth talent lifecycle. Provide assistance with other Talent Office data and analytics needs as requested, driving talent management excellence. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Talent Office Data Analyst at ESPN, you will need: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Talent Office or Talent Relations role, preferably in a public-facing environment. A high level of trust and confidentiality to work with sensitive information daily. The ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, driving data-driven insights. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, presenting complex data in a clear and concise manner. A strong work ethic and teamwork mentality, collaborating with internal stakeholders and talent representatives. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a Talent Office Data Analyst at ESPN, you will ideally have: Previous experience managing and overseeing Talent data or schedules, driving talent insights. Demonstrated expertise in managing departmental databases, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to a competitive salary, you will be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units as part of the compensation package.
