The Director of Business Development will lead the growth and management of strategic partner accounts, collaborating closely with executive leadership to drive overall growth strategy and expand relationships across new markets.ResponsibilitiesAchieve annual sales and revenue targets through strategic partnerships within the clinical research and trial services spaceExpand existing sponsor and CRO relationships by identifying new study opportunities, therapeutic areas, and geographic growth marketsBuild and maintain strong client relationships with key decision-makers, including clinical operations and executive leadershipDevelop and execute strategic account plans aligned with client pipeline needs and M3 Wake Research site capabilitiesLead client presentations and proposals that effectively position multi-site clinical research solutions and differentiated enrollment performanceManage business development pipeline, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination to secure new clinical trial placementsIdentify cross-selling opportunities across research services and ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growthProvide regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadershipSupport business development activities requiring approximately 25% domestic travel, including conferences and site visitsSkillsBachelor's degree in life sciences or business preferredMinimum of 5 years of sales experience selling site or CRO services to pharmaceutical and biotech clients, with direct engagement at mid-level and executive decision-maker levelsDemonstrated strength in consultative selling, communication, and executive-level presentations, with the ability to build and sustain strategic client relationshipsProven track record of client retention and long-term account growthAbility to effectively manage complex client relationships and challenging financial scenariosDemonstrated success in acquiring new business and expanding an existing client baseBenefits401(k), 401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany OverviewM3 USA believes in growth, for our company and for the people who drive it's success.
