[Remote] Regulatory Financial Reporting Manager

They are looking for a Regulatory Financial Reporting Manager to lead bank-specific regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy of submissions while building the regulatory reporting function from the ground up.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end preparation and filing of bank regulatory reports, including FFIEC Call Reports (031/041/051), and other required filings with the OCC, FDIC, and other applicable regulatorsBuild and maintain the regulatory reporting framework, including reporting calendars, data sourcing workflows, reconciliation procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and completenessInterpret and apply regulatory reporting instructions (FFIEC, OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve) to Sezzle's unique business model, ensuring proper classification and reporting of BNPL-related assets, liabilities, income, and capitalMonitor and implement changes to regulatory reporting requirements, including new or revised schedules, reporting thresholds, and interpretive guidanceCollaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to source data, resolve reporting questions, and ensure consistency between regulatory filings and GAAP financial statementsSupport regulatory examinations and audits by providing documentation, responding to examiner inquiries related to Call Report data, and remediating findings as neededPartner with external auditors and consultants on regulatory reporting matters, including agreed-upon procedures and attestation engagementsDevelop and maintain documentation of regulatory reporting policies, procedures, and methodologies to support SOX compliance and institutional knowledgeLeverage technology and automation to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of the regulatory reporting process.
