They are seeking a Regional Sales Specialist - Education to focus on empowering Channel Sales Executives and partners, providing market intelligence, and supporting high-complexity sales opportunities within the education vertical.ResponsibilitiesFocus on scaling regional performance by empowering Channel Sales Executives (CSE’s), as well as Channel Account Managers (CAM’s) and Motorola Solutions partners, by providing market intelligence, competitive "win themes," & technical sales toolsParticipate in the development of training materialsFeedback end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releasesDevelop standardized Strategic Alliance partnership presentations and sales tools for use by CSE/CAM outlining Avigilon value proposition within a partner's enterpriseProvide product and sales training to assigned accounts to help them understand our products including how and when they should be used according to their specific applicationProvide tactical, field-based support for "Must-Win" opportunities, being the “closer” for high-complexity Video Security & Access Control ecosystem dealsPromote and sell Avigilon’s products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory and accountsPrepare proposals and quotes for prospective customers and provide them with published prices, and information regarding terms of sales and delivery datesWork on key deals to help define and oversee how our products are deployedBe the primary sales architect for high-value strategic accounts to ensure deep penetration of the Motorola Solutions ecosystemCreate, maintain, and execute business plans for assigned accounts and strategic alliancesCreate, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders within accounts as assignedCreate, manage, and maintain sales pipelines with assigned accountsDevelop and maintain relationships at the Executive level with all assigned accountsOversee and manage the sale of Avigilon products and services within the assigned accountsExecute targeted regional campaigns, C-suite networking events, and reference-site development to accelerate new account introductionsWork with Regional Sales Team members to execute and complete business plans for assigned accountsWork to identify new markets, partnering opportunities with accounts, new business plans and objectivesIdentify key surveillance market influencers, establish contact with them, and demonstrate to them the superiority and utility of our productsSkills5+ years of video security solutions sales experienceExperience with selling into the education verticalPhysical security solutions experience a plusExperience working with channel strategies and initiativesStrong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutionsAbility to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basisProven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationshipsStrong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is requiredExcellent analytical, verbal and written communication skillsTime management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environmentMust reside and be travel by air and car within territoryBenefitsIncentive Bonus PlansMedical, Dental, Vision benefits401K with Company Match10 Paid HolidaysGenerous Paid Time Off PackagesEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid Parental & Family LeaveReferral Payment PlanCompany OverviewMotorola Solutions creates mission-critical communication solutions and services for public safety and commercial customers.
