[Remote] Regional Sales Manager

HARTING Technology Group is a leader in connectivity products and custom solutions, seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead field sales and OEM engagement in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. This remote role focuses on driving new business with OEM customers and developing distributor partnerships while engaging in technical discussions and relationship-building.ResponsibilitiesEngage directly with OEM engineering, operations, and purchasing teams to identify new design opportunities and drive specification of HARTING solutionsLead technical customer discussions to uncover applications, influence design decisions, and support new product or technology adoptionLead sales growth across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California through a combination of OEM selling and distributor collaborationStrengthen relationships at distributor branches; collaborate on joint sales activities and opportunity developmentConduct OEM customer visits to uncover new opportunities and provide technical guidanceDeliver product and solution training to distributor sales teamsSupport distributor branch planning, business reviews, and performance follow-upResolve customer or channel issues impacting sales performanceTrack and manage opportunities through CRMCollaborate with internal teams (Distribution Management, Product Management, Account Management) to align on sales strategy and executionMaintain a target account list and follow-up action plansTravel up to 50% within the regionSkills3+ years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in OEM, technical, channel/distribution, or other complex technology-driven sales environmentsExperience managing multi-step or complex sales cycles and working with technical stakeholders (engineers, operations teams, or technical buyers)Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skillsBachelor's degree required, engineering or STEMCRM experience (SAP preferred)BenefitsHARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefitsBase Salary and Bonus PercentageThis role is eligible for a 20% discretionary annual bonusCompany OverviewThe HARTING Technology Group is a leading global provider of industrial connectivity.
