[Remote] Regional Sales Manager

RIDE Mobility is driving a transformation in the transportation industry, seeking a passionate Regional Sales Manager to enhance business growth and market penetration of EV School Buses. The role involves meeting sales goals, expanding accounts, and developing sales strategies while building relationships with stakeholders in the designated region.ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed sales goals in the designated region and/or marketExpand existing sales, develop new sales and build an account portfolio in the designated areaDirect, develop, and execute sales plans and strategies to attain better profitability and level of service throughout the territoryMonitor and analyze the market, identify opportunities, determine sales potential and inventory requirements, monitor the preferences of customers, and develop business strategiesBuild relationships with stakeholders, and lead sales effortsContinuously monitor and align company initiatives with customer needs and regulatory developments in the regionSupport product management initiatives, develop proposals and manage contracts, provide team leadership, and report on performanceNegotiate all contracts with prospective clientsAssist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiationsRepresent company at trade association meetings and expo to promote productsSkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) SalesMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of EV school bus market/OEMs/incentives and etcKnowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systemsExperience communicating with customers verbally to convey information and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audienceWork independently, take initiative and be resourceful with minimal supervisionExperience negotiating contracts and influencing others to achieve a positive outcomeDemonstrated experience analyzing data and generating reportsAbility to travel to various states within the U.S. to meet with customers, and participate in trade showsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePointKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
