They are seeking a Regional Account Manager to run their own business within South Carolina and Georgia, focusing on increasing healthcare professional awareness of their products and developing strategic business plans in the rare disease community.ResponsibilitiesAs Regional Account Manager, you are the regional business owner with focus on increasing HCP awareness and understanding of promoted Mirum productIdentifies and establishes strong relationships with key thought leaders and customers; demonstrated ability to recognize and devote the necessary time and resources needed to engage with HCP’s to create advocatesPossesses an entrepreneurial approach with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize/exceed individual and company goalsUnderstand healthcare trends in the Rare Disease community and apply strategies to mitigate account access challengesEmploy strong organizational and analytical skills to optimize growth, including the ability to analyze business data to develop strategic and actionable business plansDemonstrates and enhances Mirum’s culture of compliance, integrity, and transparencyDevelopment and maintain strong partnerships across commercial, compliance, medical affairs functionsDrive change through influence and innovationSkills5+ years of progressive business experience in healthcare or biotech industry, inclusive of 3 years of field-based experience in account management, sales and field reimbursementSuccessful biotech/pharma product launch experienceExperience in rare or niche markets with a documented track record of exceeding goalsBachelor's degree or higherApproximately 60% travel is required including overnight travel as neededSome travel and attendance on evenings and weekends for regional and national meetings, conferences and advocacy support eventsMotivational and interpersonal communicationStrong presentation and management skillsScientific acumen and proficiency in highly specialized and complex diseasesDetail oriented and precision while able to see 'big picture'Assertiveness, pro-activity, professionalism, and confidenceExtraordinary commitment to customer experience and standards of excellenceExcellent organizational skillsSelf-motivated and ability to deal with ambiguity and problem solveSolid business relationships in GI/hepatology strongly desiredPediatric experience welcomedCompetitive marketplace experience preferredProven experience working within Hospitals, Academic Institutions, and clinics calling on interdisciplinary care teamsTrack record of researching and problem-solving complex issues impacting HCP's while mitigating barriers to patients access to careProven record of success through teamwork and executionTrack record of operating in accordance with all regulations as well as company policy and proceduresDemonstrates high ethical and performance standards with all business contactsCompany OverviewMirum Pharmaceuticals is a leading rare disease company with a global footprint of approved products and a broad pipeline of investigational medicines.
