[Remote] Recruiting & Events Coordinator

The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM) is a mission-driven community focused on expanding access to graduate management education. They are seeking a Recruiting & Events Coordinator to manage recruitment events, engage with applicants, evaluate applications, and maintain data integrity throughout the recruitment process.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute virtual and in-person recruitment events (e.g., MAPS, member school webinars, external partnerships)Own event logistics end-to-end, including registration management, vendor coordination, run-of-show, materials, and post-event follow-upRepresent CGSM at recruitment events by speaking with prospective students, delivering presentations, and driving event sign-upsTravel domestically to attend recruitment events as neededTrack event performance (attendance, engagement, conversion to next funnel stage) and surface insights for improvementCollaborate with Marketing to ensure recruitment events and communications are promoted and reflected accurately in the CRMManage the recruitment inbox, providing timely, high-quality responses to applicant questionsEvaluate applications using established rubrics to support fair, consistent, and mission-aligned admissions decisionsSupport prospective applicants throughout the application process, including deadlines, requirements, and next stepsEnsure a strong, responsive candidate experience across all admissions touchpointsMaintain accurate prospect, applicant, and event data in the CRM (Slate)Build and run standard recruiting and admissions reports (pipeline, conversion, yield, event ROI)Partner with Recruiting leadership to support funnel analysis and data-informed decision-makingSupport student and member school engagement efforts by preparing agendas, decks, materials, and data summariesAssist with internal stakeholder, committee, and leadership requests related to recruiting and admissionsSkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience in recruitingHands-on experience planning and executing events (virtual and in person)Experience with vendor managementComfort presenting to large audiences and engaging prospective students with confidence and professionalismExperience using a CRM system (Slate strongly preferred)Strong written communication skills, particularly for applicant-facing emails and outreachAbility to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and execute independently without direct hierarchical controlAlignment with CGSM's mission and commitment to student access and opportunityPrior experience in higher education admissions or enrollment managementFamiliarity with admissions terminology and processes (can be learned on the job if recruiting fundamentals are strong)Experience supporting reporting, funnel analysis, or recruitment strategy planningCompany OverviewThe Consortium for Graduate Study in Business is the 's top association for fostering American business diversity and inclusion.
