[Remote] QA Analyst, Bi
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Keeper Security is a leading cybersecurity company seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Analyst to join their quality assurance team. The role focuses on testing Business Intelligence applications and backend services, ensuring quality and reliability while collaborating with the Product Development team to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Conduct testing of web-based Business Intelligence applications following standardized QA processes
ā¢ Validate backend services and APIs supporting BI applications
ā¢ Create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases based on Jira ticket requirements and acceptance criteria
ā¢ Document testing activities, defects, and results using Jira and Confluence
ā¢ Utilize test management platforms such as TestRail to track and report testing progress
ā¢ Reproduce issues, clearly document findings, and partner with developers to drive defects to resolution
ā¢ Configure test environments and coordinate testing across supported browsers and platforms to ensure compatibility and reliability
Skills
ā¢ Experience performing web application QA, including test execution, defect reporting, and regression testing
ā¢ Experience using ticketing and defect tracking systems such as Jira
ā¢ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and the software testing lifecycle
ā¢ Ability to write clear bug reports and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
ā¢ Due to the role's involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)
ā¢ Assist in creating and maintaining QA documentation, test plans, and test cases
ā¢ Proven experience with SQL (for data validation, querying databases, and stored procedures)
ā¢ Familiarity with API tools such as Postman and JMeter
ā¢ Understanding and familiarity with Salesforce
ā¢ Understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle
ā¢ Exposure to ticketing systems such as Jira
