[Remote] Web & UI Designer (E-Commerce + AI-Driven)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bamboo Works is seeking a Web-Focused E-Commerce Designer who specializes in creating high-converting digital experiences. The role involves designing Shopify stores and optimizing UX/UI to enhance e-commerce performance, leveraging AI tools for efficiency.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design high-performing Shopify layouts, focusing on product detail pages (PDPs), homepages, and collections
ā¢ Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma with a deep focus on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
ā¢ Ensure every web asset is perfectly optimized for the mobile shopping experience
ā¢ Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries to ensure visual consistency across web flows
ā¢ Translate brand guidelines into digital-first visual languages (typography, color systems, and UI patterns)
ā¢ Create variations of web elements (buttons, banners, navigation) for A/B testing and performance analysis
ā¢ Use AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to rapidly generate high-quality lifestyle imagery and web backgrounds
ā¢ Integrate AI into your design process to speed up retouching, layout exploration, and content variation
Skills
ā¢ 4+ years of professional design experience, with a heavy emphasis on E-commerce Web Design
ā¢ Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, components, prototyping) and Adobe Creative Suite
ā¢ Strong understanding of user psychology, heatmaps, and e-commerce conversion funnels
ā¢ Hands-on experience using AI (Midjourney, etc.) to enhance or generate design assets
ā¢ Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and its technical design constraints
ā¢ Experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus
ā¢ Basic motion design skills (After Effects or similar)
