They are seeking a detail-oriented HR & Recruitment Coordinator to manage the full recruiting cycle for First Aid Responders and maintain HR databases, ensuring compliance and readiness for events.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end recruitment for First Aid Responder roles in high-volume event zones, including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offersBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified, credentialed candidates to support rapid deployment needsConduct or coordinate interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment screeningsPartner with operations leadership to understand upcoming event schedules and anticipate staffing needs by regionDevelop creative sourcing strategies to attract new talent, including outreach to EMS schools, trade groups, and online communitiesMaintain the accuracy and integrity of HR, payroll, and scheduling databases — ensuring employee records, certifications, availability, and status are always currentAudit database records regularly to identify and resolve gaps, duplicates, or outdated informationAssist with onboarding new hires, ensuring all documentation, system entries, and credentialing records are completed before deploymentTrack and monitor state and local EMS certifications, EMT licenses, CPR credentials, and any other required compliance documents for all active staffProactively identify upcoming expirations and follow up with employees to ensure renewals are completed on timeMaintain compliance records in accordance with company policy and any applicable state regulationsFlag any compliance gaps to managementSupport HR and operations leadership with special projects, which may include process improvements, reporting, policy drafting, or researchAssist with seasonal surge planning around peak event periodsContribute ideas to improve the candidate and employee experienceSkills1+ years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or a related roleStrong organizational skills with keen attention to detail — especially around data accuracy and compliance trackingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environmentSelf-starter who can work independently with minimal supervisionExperience recruiting in healthcare, EMS, emergency services, or event staffingExperience working in a remote or distributed team environmentBackground in HR compliance or workforce managementBenefitsFlexible, part-time schedule — work that fits your lifeMeaningful work supporting the safety of tens of thousands of event attendees nationwideA collaborative, mission-driven team that values your contributionsOpportunity to grow with a company expanding into new markets and eventsCompany OverviewHeed Health provides clinical advisory and testing strategy design services.
