They are seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale software implementations within their North America Public Safety division, ensuring successful project delivery and maintaining customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesServes as the primary liaison to customer PM partners, agency and Octave stakeholders, and project teamsResponsible for hosting regularly scheduled internal and customer-facing status meetings, including ownership of agendas, details, minutes, notes, and follow-upsPartnering with project teams on task performance/completion, overall project progress, statuses, and documentationMaintaining customer-facing task tracking/project plan updates, ensuring completion, accuracy, quality, and achievement of contracted SOW tasksEscalating within PMO and Services leadership as required to maintain project successConducting/Representing Project To Executive Leadership as requiredUnderstanding and aligning provided project SOW’s, Levels Of Effort (LOE’s), to overall project progress, completion, and delivery successCollaborating, requesting, and coordinating project resource needs as required with Technical/Pod managementAligning with project team members to track issues, disposition, and escalations to technical leadership and Product (GTC) as neededFacilitating the resolution of issues and escalations, internally and externally, to maintain project schedule, budget, and quality expectationsMaintaining consistent updates in the PMO Salesforce portal covering current developments, risk categories, and critical path dates for the projects and portfolioPresentation of project and portfolio risks, successes, and needs on regular Risk ReviewsAnalysis of labor reports to individual task expectations and completionManagement of monthly Estimate At Completion (EAC) projections, coordinating with Project Accounting groupMitigation of the weekly/monthly path of the project against allotted budget, mitigating potential budget overages with PMO leadership as neededSkillsBachelor's degree, or commensurate documented experience in a role with similar responsibilitiesPMI PMP, or equivalent certification, requiredMinimum 5 years project management experience implementing large-scale software implementations, or equivalent scopeStrong written and oral communication, presentation, and critical-thinking skillsIntermediate-to-Senior level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – including Microsoft ProjectA self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented mindsetAn open-minded, embracer of diversity of thought and contributing to PMO team cultureStrong understanding of Public Safety culture, success, and collaboration preferredCompany OverviewOctave provides mission-critical software that empowers organizations to make informed decisions across every stage of the asset lifecycle.
