[Remote] Project Manager - Change Management

They are seeking a Project Manager - Change Management for Data Services who will manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to project management processes and facilitating Data Governance initiatives. The role includes developing project documentation, managing resources, and driving project success through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.ResponsibilitiesManages 3 to 5 projects of various sizes of simple to intermediate complexityEnsures adherence to project management processes and best practices as defined by Data ServicesServes as a primary point-of-contact for assigned projects, managing day-to-day activities and resourcesExpertise in change management functions and execution in support of Data Services and Data Governance initiativesSupporting Executive Leader engagement and facilitation of Data Governance decision-making and actionsAdministers meetings, learning sessions, and communication with all levels of organization within City of Hope and its contracted vendorsPartners with business, impacted technology areas, and IT PMO to ensure project delivery that achieves project goals and objectives within agreed upon scope, budget, and scheduleCompletes project deliverables that are timely and meet quality and customer expectations, including estimates, project plans, and all other documentation and artifacts. This may also include presentations to executives, project team members and othersManages project change requests needed to adjust schedule, budget, or scopeMakes recommendations that drive project success, including changing approach, providing feedback on recommended solution, and providing oversight and guidance to the project team, as neededPromotes and execute any organizational or departmental change management to support project deliveryManages project risks and issuesSupports ongoing intake of unbudgeted/unplanned projects throughout the yearMonitors project progress on a regular basis and change project approach or direction, as neededDevelops and delivers timely status reports, project metrics or other management reports required by leadership and stakeholdersResponsible for oversight of project team in a matrixed organizationManage vendor relationships and vendor resources as appropriate for the project, to ensure adherence to Statement of Work (SOW) with respect to project deliveryParticipate or drive problem-solving in a team environmentUnderstand and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and businessDrive and execute continuous improvementOther Duties as AssignSkillsBachelor's degree, 3 additional years of experience plus the minimum requirement may substitute for minimum education3+years of experience in a project management capacityProficiency managing cross-functional or matrixed teamsExperience developing and managing integrated work plansExperience collaborating with project stakeholders (business and IT), sponsors and team, including vendors understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)Program/Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Process ImprovementPMP CertificationExperience in Healthcare IndustryCompany OverviewCity of Hope is a cancer research and treatment non-profit organization specializing in diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses.
