The role involves overseeing project management, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, and maintaining vendor relationships while promoting knowledge sharing within the team.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manages and implements successful custom meeting/events and speaker bureaus for multiple clientsOversee project management to ensure effective milestone planning and timely completion of deliverablesReconcile expense statements and project budgetsPrepare travel schedules, book travel arrangements, and make reservations for attendants and presentersPrepare, review, and print various forms of correspondence such as invoices, presentations, publications, expenses and reportsParticipate in contract negotiations and maintain ongoing relationships with a variety of vendorsSkillsThree years of related experienceCollege diploma or University degree in related fieldThree years of related event planning experience in veterinary or medical eventsStrong working knowledge of project management principles, methods, practices, and techniquesAbility to analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions requiredAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingExpert level skills in Microsoft office, particularly PowerPoint and ExcelAbility to prioritize and manage conflicting demandsAbility to work individually as well as part of a teamDemonstrated time management skillsExperience with project management software systemsHigh flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environmentCompany OverviewProSites delivers innovative website design and online marketing solutions that help professionals achieve measurable practice growth.
