The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project plans, budgets, and resources while ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that in-house and customer projects are delivered in scope, on-time, in superior quality and on budgetUtilize Agile or waterfall project management methodologies and relevant supporting software in the planning, scheduling, reporting and change management of the projectsManage (in a matrix way) business analysts, developers, and testers throughout the project lifecycle - from business requirements acquisition to a successful go-liveCreate, monitor, and execute project plansWork closely with the project technical leads in the creation and management of project artifacts, schedules, and budgetsGovernance - provision of customer project statuses, project timeline maintenance, project plan performance reporting, etcEstimate and create project budgets including but not limited to tracking and monitoring project cost, review of budgets and costs with the customer and internal management, management and maintenance of detailed project time records for all members of the project teamManagement of problem reports and working with the technical lead on the scheduling of workarounds and fixes for such itemsAudit implementations to ensure the implementation processes defined internally are followedManage customer expectations and deliverables including as appropriate client issues management and escalationReport, document and manage risks, risk mitigation activities and the resolution of system delivery and support issuesSupport the sales functions to expand the customer relationship beyond the projectsParticipate in strategic planning sessions with both client and management to determine the scope and objectives of each projectWork with Sapiens finance and legal teams to create and approve client statements of work contractsWorking knowledge of Clients License Service AgreementProvide feedback for annual performance reviews for direct team membersSkillsMinimum of 12 years of experience managing large complex projects/programs ($3+ MM) within the L&A verticalMinimum of 10 years of L&A Domain expertiseExperience with managing all aspects of policy administration system implementation and integrationExperience with managing all aspects of underwriting, application, and illustrations system implementation and integrationKnowledge and understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologiesAbility to work and thrive in a global delivery model (onshore/offshore)Must be able to motivate and energize a globally distributed teamProven ability to work with changing priorities and quickly adapt to changeAbility to understand complex L&A business processesConsultative and facilitation skillsDemonstrated engagement and influencing at CxO levelStrong written and verbal communications skillsExperience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)Strong customer support experienceStrong oral, written, and presentation communication skillsMinimum of a bachelor's degreeTravel requirement- approximately 20%-based on the project needsCompany OverviewSapiens provides software solutions for the insurance industry, specializing in digital transformation, core systems, and analytics.
