The role involves conducting project billing and requires a strong background in accounting, particularly within the hospitality industry.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all aspects of project milestone billing, including compliance with billing and collections best practices and proceduresCreates job cost estimates based on contracts, build of materials, and change ordersMaintains the accuracy of the information contained within the job costing systemReconciliation of project accounts receivable aging on a weekly and monthly basisAssist with processing, application, and maintenance of client payments related to projectsCommunicate with clients regarding project billing questionsProvides records of billing, payments, and billing adjustmentsPreparing and reviewing various monthly reports for analyzing project dataResearch various accounting issuesAssist Accounting management with special projectsWork with the Project Management team for final project billingSkillsStrong background in accountingMinimum of 2 years of working experienceFamiliarity with the Hospitality IndustryKnows commonly used accounting principlesProficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProven flexibility, initiative, and self-relianceDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems0-2 years of cumulative experience, including general accounting, account reconciliation, journal entries, fixed assets, billing, payables, and report generationBachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experienceJob cost experienceContract billing experienceBenefitsPaid vacationAn IRA with a company matchHealthcare insuranceVision insuranceDental insuranceCompany OverviewBroadband Hospitality specializes in project management, cost analysis, internet, wireless services, wiring and audio-visual solutions.
