The role involves project ownership, cross-functional program coordination, financial management, and maintaining executive-level relationships with key stakeholders for National Accounts.ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding P&L for client projectsUnderstand contracts requirements and scope of workProtect and improve project margins through disciplined executionMaintain accurate forecasting through project completionDevelop and maintain 12–24 month strategic account plans aligned with customer capital programs and operational prioritiesMaintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders for National AccountsFacilitate annual strategic planning sessions with customers and internal leadershipAlign Shermco service capabilities with customer long-term infrastructure and reliability needsCoordinate execution across all Shermco organizations, branches and service groupsLead recurring internal program coordination meetingsResolve inter-branch operational conflicts and ensure consistent execution standardsEstablish and maintain standardized reporting structures and communication cadence across participating branchesMonitor estimate-to-actual performance trendsIdentify early indicators of margin erosion or project riskTrack change order capture rates and financial performance driversLead quarterly financial performance reviews with executive leadershipInterpret and manage contract requirementsEnsure scope clarity and enforce structured change managementLead RFI development and trackingPrevent unauthorized scope executionDevelop and maintain formal project risk registersMaintain a Program Risk Register including safety risks, margin risks, capacity constraints, contractual risks, and reputational risksConduct monthly program risk reviewsEscalate material risks to executive leadership when appropriateProactively mitigate safety, financial, schedule, and resource risksEscalate high-impact risks appropriatelyLead contingency and recovery planningPromote consistent operational standards across the program including safety compliance, estimating discipline, project controls, and documentation standardsLead program-level lessons learned reviews to improve future executionServe as primary client interfaceMaintain quarterly executive touchpoints with strategic customersLead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs)Own resolution of escalated operational or service issuesMonitor customer satisfaction and service quality metrics Schedule ManagementLead project update meetings and executive briefingsNavigate conflict professionally while protecting Shermco’s interestsDevelop opportunities for repeat businessLead cross-functional teams including technicians, engineers, and subcontractorsConduct structured project kickoff meetingsDrive execution quality and minimize reworkEnsure disciplined documentation and turnover standardsIdentify opportunities to expand Shermco’s services within strategic accountsEnsure pricing alignment across regions and branchesParticipate in review of large proposals to ensure strategic alignmentPrevent uncoordinated pricing or discounting across Shermco regionsSupport capture strategies for large capital projectsProvide clear project performance updates to senior leadershipPresent risk summaries, financial forecasts, and mitigation plansParticipate in post-project reviews and lessons learned sessionsSkills5-10 years of program or project management experience ideally managing a national account in multiple sitesExperience in any of the following: electrical construction, NETA testing, electrical commissioning, engineering services, industrial field services, power systems services, electrical infrastructure, and working knowledge of medium- and low voltage electrical systems or related technical fieldDemonstrated financial literacy and ability to interpret project financialsExperience managing or overseeing large programs or projects exceeding $1MProven ability to coordinate multi-site or multi-branch operationsStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and margin managementExperience interpreting contracts and managing change ordersProven ability to lead large field teams and multi-disciplinary resourcesBachelor's Degree preferredPMP certification or formal project management trainingBackground in utility, industrial, data center, or mission-critical environmentsExperience managing enterprise-level customer relationshipsCompany OverviewShermco Industries provides testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
