They are seeking a Product Manager (Technical Lead) to drive the delivery of a School-Based Services Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring successful design, implementation, and deployment while coordinating with various stakeholders and vendors.ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical lead for the EHR product, guiding design, build, test, and deployment activitiesTranslate business needs into technically feasible product direction and solution optionsProvide direction on infrastructure, platform decisions, and system architectureMaintain overall solution quality and ensure alignment to project objectives and standardsCoordinate across DVHA, Agency of Digital Services (ADS), Agency of Education (AOE), school districts (LEAs), and EHR vendorsAct as a central point of contact for technical questions and issue resolution across stakeholdersPartner with project management, business leads, and procurement to monitor vendor performanceFacilitate collaboration between state teams, SMEs, and implementation leadsLead and oversee data migration and system integrations/interfaces with external systemsEnsure a structured release management process, including multi-cohort go-live planningSupport system documentation, training materials, and organizational readinessIdentify and resolve technical blockers, risks, and dependenciesDrive and refine Agile and hybrid delivery practices across teamsProvide technical input into backlog prioritization, sizing, and complexity assessmentParticipate in sprint activities, retrospectives, and continuous improvement effortsResearch industry trends, EHR best practices, and market capabilitiesEvaluate vendor solutions and support technology selection and module implementation decisionsCommunicate technical debt, risks, and trade-offs clearly to executive stakeholdersSkills8–12+ years in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Technology DeliveryExperience leading EHR / EMR implementations or healthcare IT systemsProven success in large-scale system implementations (public sector preferred)Experience managing vendor-driven delivery environmentsStrong understanding of EHR platforms and healthcare data workflowsStrong understanding of system integration, APIs, and interoperabilityStrong understanding of data migration strategies and executionExperience with Agile / hybrid delivery modelsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsAbility to engage executive stakeholders and cross-agency partnersStrong facilitation and conflict resolution skillsProven ability to lead without direct authority in matrixed environmentsExperience with state Medicaid, public health, or education systemsFamiliarity with HIPAA and health data compliance environmentsBackground in multi-organization implementations (state + vendor + local entities)Agile (Scrum, SAFe) certificationsPMP or equivalent certificationsHealthcare IT or interoperability-related certificationsBenefitsConvenience/Concierge – Virtual health visits, commuter perks, pet insurance, and entertainment discounts that make life easier.Development – Annual performance reviews, tuition assistance, and internal career growth opportunities to help you thrive.Financial – Generous 401(k) matches, life and disability insurance, and financial wellness tools to support your future.Recognition – Annual awards, service anniversaries, referral bonuses, and peer-to-peer shoutouts that spotlight your achievements.Wellness – Healthcare coverage, wellness programs, flu shots, and biometric screenings to support your health.Company OverviewDMI is a leading provider of digital services and technology solutions with a focus on end-to-end managed services, including managed mobility, cloud, cybersecurity, network operations, and application development.
