[Remote] Product Designer

In this role, you will collaborate with a team to design and develop products, translating ideas into actionable designs while balancing user and business needs.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to define project goals and contribute to actionable design strategiesCreate service blueprints, information architecture diagrams, data flows, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for assigned projectsAssist with requirements gathering to ensure business needs are documented for the development teamSupport and participate in workshops and presentations of design concepts to stakeholders and developersConduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and help inform design decisionsContribute to DSI’s design systems and component libraries, helping to maintain consistency in design language and brand guidelinesSkills8+ years of total experience with 4+ years of experience in product design, service design, or UI/UX with a portfolio showing work across digital platforms (iOS, web, or similar)Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of digital products, including design, launch, and ongoing maintenance, with close collaboration alongside product managers and engineers to ensure continuous improvement and user satisfactionExperience mapping data flows across complex systems and a strong understanding of how data inputs can be utilized to drive the user experienceProficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, or similar design toolsExceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex system operations and design concepts through prototypes, sketches, and presentationsExperience working in an iterative design process and openness to group critiqueDemonstrated creative and innovative problem-solving and a willingness to take the lead where neededA passion and eye for visual detail in proportion, type, motion, and interactionEmpathy for users and the ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment, advocating for both the user experience and the broader service ecosystemPassionate for Apple, its products, and its customersStrength in building new products from the ground upCollaborative mindset and a desire to help the team succeedExposure to enterprise software environmentsCompany OverviewAvenue Code is an IT consulting firm that specializes on Agile ecommerce software development.
