[Remote] Product Analyst

The Product Analyst will play a critical role in shaping data-driven product and business decisions, collaborating with a global Data team to improve user experience and conversion rates.ResponsibilitiesOwn and analyze the end-to-end user funnel β from discovery through to checkout β identifying opportunities to improve conversion, user experience, and revenue performanceDefine KPIs and measurement frameworks for product initiatives and business performance, ensuring the right metrics are in place to drive meaningful decisionsLead the design and analysis of A/B tests, including hypothesis definition, metric selection, and impact evaluationBuild and evolve the data foundations β event tracking, core metrics, and data definitions β in partnership with Data EngineeringDevelop dashboards and monitoring tools that provide ongoing visibility into product and business performanceConduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendationsServe as a trusted analytical voice within the business β actively shaping strategy, challenging assumptions where the data demands it, and influencing key decisions with well-reasoned, evidence-based narrativesEstablish scalable methodologies for measuring product and business performance across online and offline channelsPartner closely with Product Managers and global stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and influence roadmap decisionsApply statistical rigor to experimentation, including power analysis, sample size estimation, and result interpretationSkillsBSc/BA in a highly quantitative field β Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Growth Analyst in a B2C environmentProven experience in large-scale eCommerce or retail environmentsStrong hands-on experience analyzing user behavior β funnels, segmentation, cohorts, churn, and LTVProven experience designing and analyzing A/B tests at scaleAdvanced SQL skills with experience working across large, complex datasetsStrong ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and clear, actionable insightsConfident communicator with the ability to present recommendations persuasively and engage constructively with challenge and debateExperience working in cross-functional, global team environmentsData visualization and reporting tools β Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similarExperience with data infrastructure β event tracking, data pipelinesPython or R for advanced analyticsFamiliarity with AI tools for data analysis and productivityBenefitsRemote-first workplace (since 2016!)Competitive salaryAnnual bonus potentialHealth, Vision & Dental InsuranceHSA company contributions401K with company match componentβTake what you needβ PTO.Wellness benefitsOnline learning resources & trainingsWFH office and cell phone/internet stipendA FREE MATTRESS plus an awesome Friends and Family discount!Company OverviewResident is a house of direct-to-consumer brands in the home furnishings space.
