The Presales Consultant will play a crucial role in the sales process by demonstrating the value of Centric's PLM solution, engaging with customers to identify their needs, and helping them envision transformative solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead product demonstrations that align with customer workflows, data, and strategic objectivesConduct engaging discovery calls to identify customer challenges and opportunitiesAnalyze customer business processes, systems, and organizational contextTranslate customer requirements into compelling solution narratives and user storiesIdentify gaps and propose scalable, value-driven solutionsDocument discovery findings, scope decisions, and opportunity artifactsCreate demo scripts, tailored datasets, and presentation decksConfigure and personalize PLM to reflect best practice use casesSupport RFP/RFI responses and contribute to deal strategy and positioningDevelop Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, assumptions, and services estimatesBuild ROI models to quantify business impact/ value propositionContribute to marketing initiatives including events, webinars, and presentationsDevelop internal training materials and deliver training sessionsParticipate in product updates: translate, document, and communicate relevant changes into new business processes/ use casesConduct IT architecture and HW&SW requirement discussions, including hosting optionsDeliver high-impact, C-level presentations focused on business outcomesFacilitate 'Art of the Possible' sessions to expand deal scope and visionDrive alignment across business and technical stakeholdersElevate deal value through strategic thinking and solution positioningPartner with cross function business unit presales teams to deliver E2E strategies, demos & use casesPartner with Product Management to provide market and customer feedbackSupport Marketing initiatives (webinars, thought leadership, demos)Contribute to post-sales activities when needed to ensure continuity and successSkillsStrong business process understanding across PLM, Planning, ERP, or Supply ChainDeep expertise in R&D processes in Food and Beverage or Cosmetics or Private Label Management at Grocery retailProven ability to map business process to software capabilitiesExceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skillsAnalytical mindset with structured problem-solving abilityAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth environmentEntrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiativeAbility to manage complex customer engagements with minimal supervisionWillingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally if necessaryExperience working across product development, structural packaging, artwork design and regulatory complianceStrong domain expertise with Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) including - Grocery Retail, Food & Beverage or CosmeticsExperience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or enterprise software deliveryPractical background in using PLM or adjacent enterprise systems strongly preferredDemonstration and solution configuration experience preferredTechnical Skills are a plus: AI Experience, XML programming, HTML, JavaScript, Databases (Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle)Company Overview#1 PLM, Planning, Pricing and Inventory, Market Intelligence, Visual Boards for consumer goods businesses.
