[Remote] Portfolio Associate

They are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Associate to join their investment team, focusing on trading operations, portfolio implementation, and investment research while supporting advisors and enhancing operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesExecute all trade requests accurately and within established service level agreementsProcess trade instructions and system-recommended portfolio rebalancesReview proposed trades for accuracy, submit to custodians, and monitor execution and allocationsConfirm portfolio allocations and household setups are correct for both new and existing clientsRespond to portfolio implementation and trading-related questions from internal teams and advisorsAssist in PM onboarding calls with new advisors joining XYPN Sapphire, implementing portfolio transitions from prior firmsMaintain detailed records of trading activity and processesSupport the portfolio management team with portfolio analyses and data requestsPrepare investment research reports on specific asset classes and model holdingsPerform due diligence and review of advisor lead custom modelsAssist in maintaining model marketing materials and YCharts Model Marketplace DashboardsContribute to internal investment content and participate in the creation of firm-level researchAd hoc portfolio analysis as requested by financial advisorsLead or contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the investment teamCollaborate cross-functionally to enhance trading workflows and operational efficiencySupport the needs of the Investment Policy Committee with data and project workSkills4-9 years experience either: placing trades at a large custodian, investment manager, RIA, of other financial services firm or performing investment research, with an asset-class specific focusSolid understanding of portfolio management concepts and trading processesYou have a knack for noticing small discrepancies; you fill crucial information into forms (like account numbers!) with little to no error. You proofread your work before submitting itTech-savviness and the ability to pick up new technologyComfort navigating trading platforms and custodian interfacesExperience with investment tools/systems and a process-improvement mindsetYou can work under tight deadlines without even breaking a sweat as you flex your brag-worthy time management skillsFamiliarity in self-directing your days—you can manage your projects and tasks, seek out support, and re-prioritize as neededAuthorized to work and live in the United StatesExperience using Orion and their trading software, EclipseExperience working with Charles Schwab as a custodianYou're using AI tools in a trading capacityYou've passed CFA level 2 or moreBenefitsAll team members at XYPN are owners!
