The Physical Security Systems Architect Project Manager will lead the strategy and lifecycle management of physical security systems, ensuring integration of advanced technologies to safeguard corporate environments. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and oversight of complex projects to optimize security solutions.ResponsibilitiesRepresent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellenceLead the strategy, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security systemsEstablish and enforce standards for system design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle managementDesign, implement, and optimize advanced physical security systems, with a primary focus on Genetec platformsDrive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of security technologies, including access control, video management, intercoms, visitor management, and AI/analytics platformsEnsure seamless integration of security technologies to protect corporate offices, personnel, and assetsArchitect scalable, resilient security solutions by identifying capacity constraints, system dependencies, and potential points of failureDevelop and implement repeatable deployment frameworks, including playbooks, templates, and documentation to enable consistency across all sitesLead end-to-end delivery of medium to high complexity security projects, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and business prioritiesPartner cross-functionally with IT, Networking, Workplace, and other stakeholders for infrastructure readiness and seamless system integrationManage vendors and integrators to ensure quality execution, accountability, and alignment with organizational standardsOversee system integration to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across hardware, software, and network environmentsEstablish structured operational handoffs to administration, support, and project teams for long-term sustainability and ownershipProvide advanced technical leadership, including Tier 3 support and guidance on complex system issues and optimization opportunitiesCommunicate program status, risks, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders and leadership, supporting informed decision-makingAll other duties, as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field with at least seven years of experience in managing enterprise physical security systems and infrastructureAble to lead and manage the strategy and deployment of security systems across various environmentsKnowledge of network architecture and protocols related to security systemsAble to analyze complex situations and recommend solutionsAble to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationshipsClient orientated and results drivenAble to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutionsSound analytical and problem-solving skillsProject management skillsEffective communication skills including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAttentive to detail and accuracyConsistently delivers on commitments and achieves expected business resultsComputer skills; Microsoft OfficeGenetec Certified Professional or PSP, preferredBenefitsEmployer-paid life and AD&DVoluntary life and AD&DMedical(HSA) Health Savings Account(FSA) Flexible Savings AccountDentalVisionShort-term disabilityLong-term disability401(K)Paid time off (vacation, personal, sick, and holidays)Several employee assistance-related programsCompany OverviewPinkerton, established in 1850 by Allan Pinkerton, stands as a leading global provider of security and risk management solutions.
