[Remote] People Operations Coordinator

Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to enhance employee experience and support People & Culture initiatives. The role involves managing employee records, responding to inquiries, and improving HR processes within a rapidly growing sports technology company. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding to HR through a ticketing system and direct communication, escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and related systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Generate reports and analyze data to support departmental needs, ensuring accuracy and proactively resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity Coordinate end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, employment information changes, and required documentation Support People & Culture initiatives by contributing to projects that improve processes, enhance the employee experience, and streamline workflows, including the development of documentation and resources Manage compliance tracking efforts and assist with audit preparation to ensure organizational compliance Skills Experience in a People or Human Resources role, or a degree in HR Management Basic understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and performance management Proven ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information Familiarity with labor laws and workplace compliance regulations Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Exceptional written and verbal communication skills High degree of comfort with software tools and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems Experience working at a start-up and/or in the technology or athletics industries Experience with HRIS platforms and other HR platforms Benefits Health coverage Life and disability insurance Retirement plans Unlimited paid time off Flexible and remote work options Catered lunches (where applicable) Stipends for learning and development Home office equipment Company gear Company Overview Teamworks is an operating system for sports that supports talent acquisition, seamless operations, and holistic performance development.
