The Lead Director – Finance Reporting & AI/ML Transformation will lead initiatives to modernize reporting and analytics across Finance, leveraging AI/ML to enhance business processes and decision-making.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor teams responsible for reporting modernization and AI/ML-enabled process transformationSet strategic direction and execution standards for reporting, analytics, and automation initiativesDevelop and implement transformation strategies aligned with enterprise goals and business prioritiesEnsure teams are appropriately skilled, trained, and enabled to deliver modern reporting and AI/ML solutionsLead the modernization of enterprise reporting, dashboards, and management informationDrive standardization, simplification, and automation of reporting processes across functionsEstablish scalable reporting and analytics frameworks that improve transparency, speed, and decision qualityPartner with Finance and business stakeholders to define KPI frameworks and performance measurement modelsIdentify and deliver AI/ML use cases that improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight generationDrive adoption of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and intelligent automation in Finance processesCollaborate with data, technology, and business teams to embed AI/ML into end-to-end workflowsEnsure responsible, explainable, and scalable deployment of AI/ML solutionsOversee multiple transformation initiatives and workstreams, balancing priorities and dependenciesEstablish governance, metrics, and reporting to track progress and value realizationAbility to manage and support multiple projects or tasks and prioritize work effectivelyAbility to work independently and present solutions to stakeholders and leaders to support decision makingIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and process automationPartners with technology vendors and internal teams to adopt best-in-class tools and platformsStay current with emerging trends in AI/ML, analytics, and reporting technologies and assess applicabilityConduct periodic reviews to ensure solutions remain efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needsEngage senior Finance and business leaders to understand requirements and shape transformation roadmapsCommunicate progress, insights, and value delivered through reporting and AI/ML initiativesBuild strong partnerships across Finance, IT, Data, and business teams to drive adoption and impactSkillsMinimum 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineeringMinimum 4 years of relevant work experience within a large, complex organizationMinimum 1 year of experience delivering Generative AI applications into productionWillingness to travel 10% (including plane) based on project needsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substituteStrong understanding of reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making within Finance or enterprise functionsFamiliarity with modern data platforms, reporting tools, and analytics ecosystemsRelated Cloud certification (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)Hands-on experience on BigQuery and/or Databricks is highly preferredAdvanced degree or certifications in analytics, data science, or transformation disciplines preferredBenefitsThis position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the physical, emotional, and financial well‑being of colleagues and their families.The benefits for this position include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.Company OverviewCVS Health is a health solutions company that provides an integrated healthcare services to its members.
