[Remote] Partner Account Executive

The Partner Account Executive role focuses on developing partner-driven pipeline strategies, ensuring strong partner alignment, and accelerating deal momentum within enterprise accounts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage relationships with Global System Integrators (GSIs), System Integrators (SIs), and strategic partnersDrive pipeline through partner-led engagement modelsEnsure strong partner alignment and commitment on all opportunitiesShape and qualify opportunities in collaboration with partners before transitioning to Account ExecutivesEnsure all opportunities meet Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) criteria, including partner sponsorship and customer commitmentMaintain a high standard for opportunity quality and conversion potentialSupport complex enterprise opportunities by developing account plans, solution positioning, and supporting materialsCoordinate across partners, Account Executives, and Sales Engineering teams to maintain deal momentumProactively identify and address blockers in the sales processFocus on expanding existing customer relationships through partner engagementIdentify new use cases and opportunities within current accountsAlign partner delivery capabilities with customer needsDelivery of 4+ high-quality Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) per monthStrong SAL to Closed Won conversion ratesConsistent partner engagement and opportunity progressionTimely delivery of solution artifacts and account plans (within 48–72 hours)Maintenance of a healthy pipeline aligned with regional targetsSkills5+ years of experience working within the U.S. partner ecosystemProven experience collaborating with GSIs, SIs, or strategic partnersStrong understanding of enterprise sales processes and multi-stakeholder deal cyclesAbility to build structured account plans and drive execution across multiple teamsExcellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skillsExperience in data infrastructure, databases, or enterprise software environmentsFamiliarity with partner-led sales motions and co-selling modelsBackground in managing or supporting complex, multi-party enterprise dealsBenefitsEquityCompetitive health plansRetirement plansUnlimited paid time off (PTO)Company OverviewYugabyte is an open-source distributed SQL database for customers in industries such as cybersecurity, financial markets, and IoT.
