[Remote] Paralegal, Colorado

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Law Offices of Robert S. Gitmeid & Assoc. PLLC is a consumer protection law firm located in the Financial District of New York City, providing representation to consumers who have been harassed or deceived by creditors. They are currently seeking a full-time Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support attorneys in litigation-related matters and provide administrative support to the office staff. Responsibilities • Assisting the firm’s attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters • Drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc • Communication with clients and opposing counsel • Research with regard to simple and complex legal matters • Administrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping Skills • Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience (e.g., drafting pleadings and legal research) • Exceptional legal writing skills • Possess superior organizational and time-management skills • Must be computer literate: Ability to easily learn the Firm's case management software • Highest ethical standards and professional integrity • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties • Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus • Paralegal Certification is a plus Benefits • Monthly performance-based bonuses after 90 days of employment • Training & Guidance • Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits • 401(k) Benefits with Employer Match • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Business Casual Dress Code Company Overview • Law Offices of Robert S.
