They are seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Revenue Analyst to identify and resolve financial discrepancies, optimize revenue capture, and collaborate with operational leaders to enhance financial processes.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving financial discrepancies to recover missed or lost incomeAnalyze billing errors, payment disputes, and account adjustments across complex systems to minimize revenue leakage and optimize cash flowUncover missed revenue opportunities, collaborate with operational leaders, billing and revenue cycle analyst to implement corrective actionsPrepare detailed reports and recommend process improvements to enhance revenue captureWork in this role requires close attention to deadlines and accuracy, making organizational skills and clear communication especially valuable to ensure financial goals are metDaily Tasks:* Reviewing and reconciling accounts, analyzing billing and payment data, and investigating discrepancies to uncover missed revenue opportunitiesDiscrepancy Resolution:* Research and reconcile customer chargebacks, deductions, and underpayments across financial or billing systemsData Analysis & Auditing:* Audit account data to identify patterns of underbilling, overpayment, or delayed claimsStakeholder Collaboration:* Partner with finance, billing, and operation leaders to resolve errors and implement corrective actionsRoot Cause Analysis:* Investigate the underlying causes of revenue leakage and recommend process improvements to prevent future lossesReporting:* Compile and present financial reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership regarding recovery metricsOther Duties as AssignedSkillsThree years of experience administering or coordinating parts or subsets of a project or programA bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a field directly related to the position will substitute for two years of the required experienceProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and WordOrganized task and follow-up itemsAbility to read and understand medical related termsAbility to effectively work both independently and in a team environmentEffective organizational abilities, oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate and communicate effectively while meeting multiple deadlines and completing projects simultaneouslyAbility to interact in a positive, productive manner with provider, nursing, pharmacy staff and leadership (demonstrating sensitivity, tact, and professionalism)Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodationHealthcare setting, billing, claims and successful program administratorStrong critical thinking and mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy when handling large datasetsExceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills to handle disputes professionally with internal departments and external clients or payersAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP platforms or specialized financial and billing softwareBenefitsHealthcare Options - Covered 100% for full-time employees and 88% for dependents, and $25K of term life insurance provided at no cost to the employeeTwo separate above market pension plans to choose fromVacation- up to 200 hours per year depending on length of serviceSick Leave- up to 96 hours per year8 paid holidays per yearSubstantial Tri-met and C-Tran discountsAdditional Programs including Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Company OverviewThe School of Dentistry shares the mission of the Oregon Health & Science University to provide educational programs, basic and clinical research, and high-quality care and community programs.
