Sr. Logistician - USCG FRC PRO

Location: Lockport, Louisiana (with moderate travel; INCONUS) Type: Full-Time (Contingent on Contract Award) Please note: This position is contingent upon Insight Technology Solutions being awarded the applicable government contract. Insight Technology Solutions is currently pursuing an opportunity providing subject matter expertise and technical services in support of the SENTINEL Class Fast Response Cutter (FRC) patrol boat acquisition in Lockport, LA. Specifically, administrative, logistics, systems engineering support services are required, including the disciplines of propulsion, electrical, mechanical, welding & fabrication, command and control and other systems. As part of this effort, Insight is looking to identify a Sr. Logistician. Job Responsibilities: • Identify logistics requirements to assist with contract requirements development. • Prepare required documentation for assigned logistics support elements in support of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan development efforts and the acquisition project. • Update and adjust project documentation and review the adequacy of logistics support. • Prepare monthly cost change letters for various procurement items related to the Fast Response Cutters (FRC) contract. • Develop Outfitting Buy Lists and prepare the related letters for FRC recommended supply support buy lists. • Maintain outfit/supply support budgets for each ship and provide a monthly status. Maintain system stock budgets and provide a monthly status. • Manage funds for all the Supply Support Contract Line Items. • Review the “Outfitting Material Status Report” CDRL for accuracy and contract compliance. Participate in the Outfit inventories and the turnover of all supply support and outfitting items to the FRC’s crews. • Position requires member to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
