[Remote] OneStream Principal Consultant

OneStream Software is a leader in enterprise finance solutions, and they are seeking a Principal Consultant to enhance their clients' business performance management efforts. The role involves working closely with clients to deliver effective financial reporting applications and managing implementation processes independently while mentoring junior team members.ResponsibilitiesWork with clients on scoping specific projects, and then work with the client to produce measurable resultsIndependently own entire build processBecome intimately familiar with OneStream’s engagement methodology and service offerings, as well as the partner solution offerings within their respective practiceAssist in pre-sales efforts to explain our services offerings to prospective customersDemonstrate the core/advanced functionality of single solution on the platform through Proof of ConceptEngage in conversations with Sales to discuss implementation of a use case at current or prior customer (or employer)Delegate tasks to and mentor junior members of the teamIndependently complete implementation work and project documentationReview and finalize documentation and application elements prepared by junior team membersLead troubleshooting and resolution of application issuesLead a full multi-solution design session; prepare complete design documentAssist in identifying roles and responsibilities for projectsProvide feedback on team performanceResponsible for managing small projects in accordance with the PRIME methodologyCreate and maintain project financials, project plan, and status reportingMentor less experienced consultantsContribute to OneCommunityIdentify and recreate issues for tracking and resolution with product developmentConduct customer trainingLead customer meetings, manage customer relationshipsSubmit timesheet & expense reports timelySkillsBachelor's degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or CIS, or equivalent work experience12+ years of relevant work experienceExtensive experience with SQL, C#, VB.NET or similar programming experienceHigh degree of proficiency with MS Office and data modeling skillsDeep understanding of financial accounting processesStrong critical thinking and analytical background (consulting, banking, research)Superior presentation skillsStrong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementationPrior Experience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.)Master degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information TechnologyA professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology)Prior experience with any of the following products is a plus: SAP Outlooksoft BPC, SAP BOFC (Cartesis), HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, IBM CognosBenefitsVisionMedicalLifeDental401KExcellent Medical PlanDental & Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityVacation TimePaid HolidaysProfessional DevelopmentRetirement PlanCompany OverviewOneStream Software is an independent software company that develops a financial planning and analysis software.
