Remote Of Counsel
HIRING REMOTE OF COUNSEL / CO-COUNSEL: Active Employment Litigation (Hourly with Contingency Arrangement)
Volya Law Office PLLC (Colorado Employment Lawyer) is immediately seeking an experienced employment litigator to join our practice as Of Counsel or Co-Counsel on an hourly basis plus contingency fee (percentage of recovery) basis.
Litigation experience beyond employment law is a plus.
• Immediate Hourly Workload:
• Active Civil Litigation Cases: Overflow requires immediate, hands-on assistance.
• Media Visibility: Includes a role in high-visibility matters receiving media attention.
• Contingency Co-Counsel Opportunities: The role offers immediate participation in the firm’s litigation pipeline on a contingency basis, including potential high-value matters:
• Potential multi-party / multi-jurisdiction employment litigation involving classification and wage issues
• Executive-level compensation and employment disputes
Benefits / Work Structure: This is a contract (Of Counsel / Co-Counsel) role. No employer-sponsored health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, or other employee benefits are provided. The firm offers flexible remote work arrangements and schedules.
Compensation: Hourly work is compensated at $205–$385/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Contingency matters are compensated based on an agreed-upon contingency fee (percentage of recovery).
Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado.
Language skills in Ukrainian, Surzhyk, and Spanish are a plus.

Role Description
This is a contract role for a Remote Of Counsel. The Of Counsel will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, preparing legal documents, analyzing complex legal matters, and advising clients on labor and employment law issues. Day-to-day tasks involve detailed case analysis, strategy development, and collaboration with other legal professionals to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
• Qualifications
• Strong foundation and expertise in Law, including the ability to analyze and interpret legal statutes and regulations
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and management
• Ability to assess and address a wide range of Legal Issues with precision and care
• Experience in providing well-researched and actionable Legal Advice
• Specialized knowledge in Labor and Employment Law with experience handling related cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• License to practice law in Colorado
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience is preferred
