Remote Occupational Therapist in CA
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based services within a K-12 setting. This role offers flexibility with part-time hours (less than 20 hours per week), starting in August 2026, and requires delivering therapy remotely to students.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Providing teletherapy interventions aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) for students across K-12
ā¢ Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students functional goals
ā¢ Utilizing evidence-based OT strategies within a virtual school environment
ā¢ Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and requirements:
ā¢ Active Occupational Therapy license in California
ā¢ Experience delivering school-based OT services, preferably via telehealth platforms
ā¢ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, caregivers, and educational staff
ā¢ Ability to manage caseload remotely and adapt therapy techniques to virtual formats
This position operates on a contractual basis and offers weekly pay with competitive compensation. The schedule and days will be determined in alignment with school needs and therapist availability.
