This role involves comprehensive project management of novel developments in instrumentation and controls, ensuring high-quality project delivery while collaborating with internal functions and vendors.ResponsibilitiesPerform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management. Projects may include design engineering, licensing, and equipment procurement related to new product offeringsProvide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within schedule and cost constraintsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelinesIdentify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessaryEnsure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policiesMonitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholdersManage change orders as needed to address project scope changes or non-standard eventsMentor and guide junior project managers, sharing expertise and best practicesDevelop specialized knowledge in nuclear energy and stay updated on the latest technical developments in the fieldUse technical expertise for data analysis to support project decisions and recommendationsSkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (equivalent experience/education will be considered, such as Senior Reactor Operator with project management experience)Minimum 5 years of experience in Project ManagementMinimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projectsDemonstrated experience in the nuclear industry, with a solid understanding of nuclear project requirementsPMP Certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)Ability and willingness to travel (~15%) domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locationsThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
