[Remote] National Program Manager - Enterprise Drug File Adoption

Aptive Resources is seeking an experienced National Program Manager (NPM) - Enterprise Drug File Adoption Pharmacist to support VA Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Clinical Informatics efforts. This role provides program leadership for Enterprise Drug File Adoption, overseeing drug file content, training, and adoption activities across VA sites.ResponsibilitiesServe as lead program manager for Enterprise Drug File Adoption, with oversight of drug file content, training, education, and adoption activities across VA sitesLead preparation, transition, and sustainment of the Cerner drug file, including oversight of the drug file component of VA site prescription migrationAct as primary liaison with VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) on VistA and Cerner, helping sites identify and resolve drug file discrepancies prior to and following Go-LiveDevelop, maintain, and evolve Enterprise Drug File policies, educational resources, and business practices in alignment with PBM and VHA leadership directionSynthesize and analyze data from enterprise and facility drug files to prepare specification requirements for pharmacy applicationsCollaborate with VA OI&T, VistA Pharmacy Workgroups, DOD, Indian Health Service, and other stakeholders to address issues and drive standardizationRepresent PBM in analysis and guidance of pharmacy software development and implementation for Process Re-Engineering (PRE) and EHRM projectsMaintain PBM master databases to ensure clinical and technical accuracy across Pharmacy Data Management, Inpatient Medications, Outpatient Pharmacy, BCMA, Adverse Reaction Tracking, and other associated filesSurvey user needs, develop software requirement specifications, and support phased implementation, testing, and training programsReview proposed regulations and procedural changes and make recommendations to PBM-CI leadership on needed policy and system updatesProvide technical training to VHA Pharmacy Informatics Specialists on Enterprise Drug File AdoptionCommunicate clearly and effectively on complex technical issues, both orally and in writing, with diverse internal and external audiencesSkillsPharmacy degree (BS Pharmacy and/or PharmD) from an accredited program and active, unrestricted pharmacist license in a U.S. state/territory/DCDemonstrated experience leading clinical informatics and pharmacy systems initiatives (EHR, drug file content, migration readiness, training)Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex functional issues into clear requirements and recommendationsAbility to work remotely/telework (remote eligible)Experience supporting VA EHRM or other federal EHR modernization effortsFamiliarity with VA drug file management and prescription migration processesPrior experience in a national or enterprise-level program management role within VHA or a federal health agencyExperience collaborating across VA, DOD, and/or IHS pharmacy programsTechnical experience in software design or developmentCompany OverviewAptive Resources is a management consulting firm focused on human experience, digital services and business transformation.
