They are seeking a National Account Manager to build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, analyze sales performance, and develop comprehensive account plans to drive business growth.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong, strategic relationships with existing and prospective customers, serving as a trusted partner and advocate for the Milo’s brandAnalyze sales performance, including volume, product mix, and pricing, while staying current on supply and demand dynamics, market trends, economic indicators, and competitive activityLeverage syndicated and internal data to identify opportunities to increase sales, expand distribution and shelf space, and improve brand positioning and customer penetrationDevelop and execute comprehensive account plans, clearly communicating strategies and initiatives to Retail Sales for effective field executionPartner with cross‑functional teams, including Senior Directors of HQ Sales and Sales Leadership, to develop and manage channel and partner strategiesConduct market and competitive analysis to identify risks, challenges, and growth opportunitiesForecast, budget, and track account volume and performance against key metricsPrepare and deliver regular reports, forecasts, and customer presentations for internal and external stakeholdersMaintain a thorough understanding of customer needs, requirements, and business prioritiesCommunicate competitor activities, retailer trends, promotions, and opportunities to internal teams to ensure alignment and execution excellenceManages relationships with assigned brokers and third-party sales agents, providing direction on account priorities, promotional execution, and performance expectationsTravel as needed throughout the assigned territory to support customer relationships and business objectivesPrepare and submit monthly expense reports in a timely and accurate mannerAttend food shows, trade events, and customer meetings to build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationshipsDemonstrate initiative, accountability, and high personal performance standards to drive resultsUphold and actively participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming, including environmental, social, and MMAD initiativesServe as a role model for Milo’s Responsibility commitment, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practicesThis position has food safety responsibilitiesPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree required in Business, Sales, or a related field5 or more years of experience in sales or account management, including 3 or more years managing national or major accounts; or 3 or more years of experience with an advanced degreeDemonstrated experience developing account plans, managing trade spend, and executing against volume objectives requiredProficiency with syndicated data toolsCPG or food and beverage industry experience strongly preferredBenefitsCompetitive salary100% employer-paid medical premiums for associates and familiesFree Mental Health, Financial Wellness, and Legal Counseling benefits401K with company matchCompany-paid Life InsuranceTuition reimbursement assistanceContinuous learning opportunitiesRobust parental leave programCare Relief Fund to help associates in needAssociate Assistance ProgramPaid volunteer timeCompany OverviewMilo's Tea Company is a food & beverages company that provides teas and beverages.
