Remote Music Teacher

Ray of Light Wellness LLC is an online mental health company dedicated to providing effective, accessible, and affordable mental health counseling and other wellness services. Our company will be launching a new virtual wellness shop this summer. We are searching for talented professionals from various backgrounds to teach a variety of unique courses.
Role Description
This is a 1099 contracted remote role for a Music Teacher interested in a position to earn passive income. This position is flexible. Teachers can choose to offer as many 1:1 sessions or live virtual courses the teacher is comfortable offering. The teacher determines limit of virtual class size, if they will offer 1:1 courses, and also how to price the course(s), etc. Ray of Light Wellness LLC will market the teacher, establish the teacher with students and virtual platforms. This is a collaborative project between freelance professionals and our company to promote wellness and spread it to the general public. The teacher in this role gets 70% of profit, Ray of Light Wellness gets 30% for its contribution. This is also an opportunity to gain professional online visibility. Our company currently has over 8k followers on Instagram.
The primary responsibilities of this position includes creating a course curriculum or providing 1:1 music sessions teaching voice lessons, guitar lessons, or other instruments the music teacher is comfortable teaching, while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning virtual space. The teacher will guide students in developing their music skills and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Music Performance and experience with instruments, such guitar or keyboard
• Experience teaching music with an understanding of diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication skills for delivering remote instruction
• Ability to tailor lesson plans to meet individual student needs and goals
• Experience working in an online teaching environment is highly valued
• Degree or certification in Music, Music Education, or relevant field is preferred
• Open to experienced performers if a music education background was not acquired
