They are seeking a Tax Analyst II who will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and timely file accurate moderate state and local tax returns, payments & related documents and respond to related notices & audits, as neededPrepare accurate tax reconciliations; investigate reconciling differences, escalate issues as needed, and assist with clearing open itemsConduct tax research and analysis to support business opportunitiesMonitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the companyCollaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for tax filings and auditsAssist in responding to tax notices and inquiries from tax authoritiesMaintain accurate and organized tax records and documentationSupport the tax manager in various tax projects and initiativesIndependently uses multiple tax systems to support assigned tax processes.
