Remote Mortgage Data Analyst
Our client, a FinTech Solutions company that provides services to leading Asset Management firms, is looking to hire a Data Analyst to their team to support a leading Mortgage investment firm. This role is fully remote.
Job Function
Ā Develop a strong understanding of data housed in relational databases, including information related to a range of loan and servicing types.
Ā Generate data-driven reports and models to support portfolio oversight, identify and quantify risks, create KPI scorecards, and build exception reporting to enable proactive management.
Ā Utilize tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI to build workflows, create real-time monitoring dashboards, and improve risk management efficiency.
Ā Implement strategies to enhance key performance metrics, including liquidation timelines and financial returns, through various servicing activities like collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and asset recovery.
Ā Ensure the execution of high-performance, data-driven decision-making processes, with a focus on outcomes, measurable KPIs, and risk considerations.
Ā Manage oversight and risk assessment for collateral files by working with vendors and other external partners.
Ā Serve as the primary liaison for data-related interactions with third-party stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and other counterparties.
Ā Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and legal requirements across servicing and portfolio management activities.
Job Requirements
Ā 2-7 years of experience within the financial services or FinTech industries
Ā Experience with data analysis and modeling
Ā Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations
Ā Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, MATLAB or Tableau
