The Mortgage Branch Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of the mortgage branch, ensuring compliance and efficiency while managing workflows and team communications.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standardsOversee timecard review and approval, ensuring accurate payroll processing and adherence to scheduling policiesCoordinate with processing, underwriting, and sales teams to streamline pipeline activities and resolve operational issuesMonitor loan file workflows to support timely closings and reduce bottlenecksTrack and report branch performance metrics and escalate operational concerns as neededMaintain internal controls over document retention, client files, and system usageAct as liaison between branch staff and corporate departments (HR, IT, Compliance, etc.)Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of operational team membersAssist branch leadership with audits, vendor relations, and resource planningEnsure the physical and digital work environment meets company standards for productivity and data securitySkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, operations, or finance5+ years in mortgage operations or a similar environment, with demonstrated leadership capabilitiesStrong organizational, communication, and time management skillsExperience with loan origination systems, payroll/timekeeping platforms, and document management toolsAbility to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentialityKnowledge of mortgage regulations and workflow best practiceCompany OverviewTexana Bank offers online banking, investments, visa cards, loans, treasury management, credit cards and merchant processing services.
