[Remote] Merchant Operations Generalist

The Merchant Operations Generalist plays a critical role in managing technical setups and resolving operational issues to enhance the merchant experience and ensure seamless onboarding and system integration. Responsibilities Configure new merchant locations for loyalty, credit card, and POS integrations Manage location expansions for existing merchants Set up and configure merchant programs aligned to business needs Facilitate credit card network onboarding for loyalty programs (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) Maintain and configure integrations with POS systems and third-party platforms Diagnose and resolve technical and operational issues collaboratively Identify and implement process improvements and automation using AI tools and scripting Document best practices and contribute to operational efficiency Skills 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, technical support, or similar roles, preferably in SaaS or the restaurant/retail industry Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify technical information Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to improve efficiency Experience in driving process improvements beyond following existing procedures Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Front, Zendesk, Google Sheets, Notion, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus Company Overview RemoteHunter is your dedicated AI job search assistant, turning the job hunt from a slow, individual effort into a quicker, smarter, and guided experience by streamlining each step of the process and speeding up your path to the right career opportunities.
