Remote Medical Scribe

JOIN OUR REMOTE MEDICAL SCRIBE TEAM! We are seeking a highly motivated experienced orthopedic scribe to join our team. The scribe will shadow the provider virtually and enter information provided by the physician-patient into the encounter quickly and accurately in real-time. This means that the scribe should be able to multi-task creating plans while listening to the conversation using good grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation. This position requires excellent typing and listening skills, and reliability. The scribe needs to be proficient in orthopedic medical terminology and have good communication skills. Contractor position with flexible scheduling options during EST/EDT daytime hours. No holidays or weekends. Paid training. You should be prepared to learn the workflows efficiently and transition to working solo with a provider promptly. We are seeking LONG-TERM employment. Requirements: • You MUST POSSESS a HIGH QUALITY HEADSET with MICROPHONE • Minimum one year of ORTHOPEDIC SCRIBE experience • Must be able to work 8-9 hour shifts • Must type a minimum of 80 WPM • Reliable internet connection and the ability to work uninterrupted • Ability to work independently • Ability to communicate effectively with client and coworkers • Ability to interact professionally with others • Excellent listening and typing skills • Excellent reliability • Epic experience a plus • Use of two monitors is recommended for optimal productivity Scribes must be able to work in a quiet environment with no distractions surrounding you including children, TV, etc. as you need to be fully engaged with the conversation between your provider and the patient being able to sit for hours at a time. • *Applicants must pass scribe aptitude test to be considered for position.
