Remote Medical Assistant Compensation
• The pay for this position is $14.50 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Remote Medical Assistant Highlights
• The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM EST
• Must be able to work one late shift (9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST) per week; all other days are first shift hours
• This is a remote / work-from-home role with standard business hours
Remote Medical Assistant Responsibilities
• Contact physician office staff via phone, fax, and/or email to obtain medical documentation supporting a patient’s need for medical supplies for insurance submission
• Develop and maintain knowledge of medical supplies, insurance guidelines, and Medicare compliance requirements
• Accurately document all interactions in CRM and call tracking systems
• Resolve customer service issues professionally and in a timely manner
• Work collaboratively with the Sales Operations team to support company goals and initiatives
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly inbound/outbound call goals and productivity metrics
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, ACW, and call volume standards
• Track and submit daily production and sales logs to the supervisor
• Support special projects or service ticket teams as needed
Remote Medical Assistant Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow written and spoken instructions accurately
• Minimum 1 year of call center or customer service experience (medical industry preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and call center telecommunications software
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate technical or medical supply information
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in the medical, healthcare, or insurance industry
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, insurance verification, and CRM tools
• Experience with telephone-based customer service or sales
