[Remote] Mechanical Engineer 3 (NSSS Vessels & Structures)

They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 to perform design and stress analyses of pressure vessels and reactor vessel internals, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards and regulations.ResponsibilitiesPerforms and documents evaluations of components to the rules and requirements of Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code including but not limited to analysis of components for pressure, mechanical/thermal loadings including Primary Stress, Primary plus Secondary stress intensity range, and Fatigue. Utilizes the results from these evaluations to optimize component(s) designDirect experience with ANSYS finite element software and CAD packagesInterprets scope and project requirementsAcquires, maintains and develops training qualificationsInteracts with co-workers and other disciplines to promote effective coordination of design activities and resolution of technical problems.
